Glad to see this post. A friend of mine played in your group. If he is still around, give him my regards. He is Joseph Alessi, formerly of the Met Opera Orchestra and father of Joe Alessi who is principal trombone in the NY Phil. I have lost track of Joe Sr, but played 2nd trumpet to him in a SF Bay area orchestra a few years ago. What a player he is. And, a real gentleman. At that time he was dividing his time between SF and Florida.
