Not to bash the 2145 too much, but I think it suffers from a dull sound, one really has to work to bring the instrument to life(this opinion is admittedly based on a sampling of no more than 2 horns, your results may vary). ON the good side , it is very well assembled and relatively easy -blowing. I think the more recently introduced 2155 competes with the HB 21 quite well, and must ask myself if the Hirsbrunner is really 4,000 - 5,000 dollars better.
