There is a prescription medication that a doctor can prescribe for cold sores when they are beginning their cycle. The medication will lesson the severity of the outbreak and shorten the healing time. Just go to the doctor when you sense them beginning.
Like Adam said, there is no permanent cure for Herpes though.
