Why bother to learn different fingerings unless you think you have a shot at going pro or just want to experience midlife crisis?

If I had had $3000 to spend, I would have bought the F Schmidt 2103 4/4 BBb 4 Valve Rotary Lacquer Tuba available from Brook Mays. No, this isn't a commercial. I drove down to St. Louis and tried the horn at McMurray music center in St. Louis. It played great. Nice response. Low notes popped out easily. I loved the horn. Unfortunately, I could not swing the money at the time. But maybe one of these days......
