Thanks Sean. I've been practicing in rooms that are somewhat secluded form the rest of the practicing folks. I like to work on stuff that doesn't sound so good, you know. Anyway, I've given it some thought and you're right... I need to get my butt out there where anyone can be around the corner or outside the room at any time. Practicing performing things I don't know for people I don't know are listening. That puts a little added pressure to get it right faster.
Another practice tip to students out there... If you're taking weekly lessons, try to get your lesson material done before the week is out so you can get TWO lessons in per week. You'll rip through the material faster and faster.
