First of all, let's not turn this into a personal thing against a guy that worked his *ss off just to justify other people NOT PLAYING AS WELL AS HE DID...
How do you know that anyone got "shafted" anyway? Is there someone that played so well ON THAT DAY that they should have beaten him? IF SO, WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST DO IT WITH THEIR HORN AND NOT THEIR MOUTH? This is pointless. He won the audition fair and square...A PANEL OF PROFESSIONALS disagrees with your two cents. Chris is a wonderful player that, MOCK MY WORDS, you will be hearing a lot more from. He is not only a guy that will sit next to you and play circles around you all day long, but he won't brag about it and certainly won't talk about how others "should have won"...but didn't.
