Perantucci has a variety of mouthpieces that can come in various shank sizes. Schilke also has screw-rim mouthpieces for some instruments, though I do not know if they
have them for tuba. Terry Warburton makes custom mouthpieces. The mouthpiece
would have to complement the bore size and the bell size. Many times in the Tubenet
people have pointed out that their E flat tubas (small) had bad intonation until
they used a small mouthpiece that originally came with it, since some
instruments are designed and tuned with this size in mind.
