I, also have a full beard, but I shave the detail area around my embouchure. I find it most comfortable to play 8-10 hours after I have shaved. For example-shave in the AM when I wake up. Playing/practicing in the evening.
Playing right after shaving is unpleasant. If I miss shaving, especially on the weekend, I don't mind a day or two. After that I feel a bit out of control.
The emphasis of my embouchure is on my lower lip, so the moustache is of less concern.
