I thought that the lower register wasn't as open as the MW 2145. But its high register seemed to be more open and powerful. You could really bounce around easily up high, and I liked its response better than the MW above C in the staff. For me it slotted easily everywhere (though i dont have a massive high range, it slotted easily to G in the treble clef) and it was nice and crisp.
I played 2 different horns in the silver plate, and I though they had a fairly bright tone, with the lacquer one that I played a little bit more mellow.

I could easily fill up the exposition hall that the display was, and I liked the projection, though the sound seemed more pointed than carpety. If that makes any sense.
