As a band director, I deal only with BBb horns. I've read on here that F tubas are much more agile, and the high stuff is much easier. Is the response and agility of an F tuba similar to a euphonium? On a BBb horn, I can play fairly comfortably from pedal Bb up to F above high Bb. On an F tuba, could I expect my range to be pedal F to 3rd space treble clef C?? Thanks in advance for the info.
