I am fortunate(?) to have both a flat 1st & flat 2nd slides for my 5th valve. Here's the rub - the flat 1st gives great intonation BUT sounds quite stuffy. The flat 2nd slide has a beautifully open tone, but I'm tired of wrestling with the horn to get the low register in tune. Needless to say, it also kinda changes all the fingerings in the low register.

Anyone know of a fingering chart (like the one posted here) based on a *flat 2nd* 5th valve? Or perhaps any other help? I've tried sitting down with a tuner & trying alternate fingerings, but thei trial & error (mostly error) method is getting old...
