Hirsbrunner Kaiser BBb: Very light rotor action. Extremely short stroke too. Something like an inch of travel. Awesome!!!
Miraphone 186BBb : Very light rotors too. Longer stroke than the Hirsbrunner.
Yamaha YBB641 : I have never played a tuba with a worse rotor action. And yes, I have tried the newest models and and older ones with S linkages. Extremely heavy and unresponsive. Feels like the rotors does not shut properly when you press them too. Hwever, they do have a good sound. Shame about the rotors though.....
Could others fill me in on other manufacturers like MW or PT or VMI? You could add what you feel too.
