I have been told by both makers and repairman that it doesn't matter if it is Alexander, Mirafone, Meinl-Weston or any other (German) brand that ALL rotary valves are made by Meinl-Schmidt. It is just a matter of how the valves are installed, the physics of the levers and the ergonomics that are involved.
