I had gone out of town one weekend, and returned to find that one of my hamsters(yes, I'm a grown man who owns hamsters!) was not in it's cage. For some reason, when I left, I had left my tuba laying down on the floor, instead of on it's stand, or resting on it's bell(this was the only time I'd ever done that). Not finding the hamster anywhere else, I approached my tuba, and rocked it a little... then tapped on the bell some... no response. Just when I was about to laugh at myself, I heard some commotion from inside the bell! After about 10 minutes of making twitching noises and waiting patiently, my hamster FINALLY emerged from around the bottom bow of the tuba.

After having rescued the hamster, I spent the next 10 minutes cleaning the hamster food out of the horn.
