last fall during marching practice, one of our idiot tenor sax players decided it would be fun to hit my poor little sousaphone! i saw him coming and moved out of the way, but his fingers still managed to hit my horn. i know he didnt hit very hard, but there is a set of four dents on my tuba now in the exact shape and size of his hand. is brass really that soft?
