Hey guys,
I'm a band director down in Tallahassee, FL and have a question for you. I have five old...old...old...king bell front tubas. All are at least 20 years old. Four of them are playable. I also have a very talented tuba player (sophomore) who already knows that he wants to go into music in college. I feel bad that he has to play on these ancient tubas. I've been looking into new ones but was recently told that I may want to reconsider. Someone told me that the old King's are actually pretty good and that I should just get them fixed up. What do you think? Also....if I go with a new one....what do you know about CervenyBBb and Meinel Weston BBb. Let me know. Thanks for your help.
