Sean brought this up a while ago, and received few responses. What elements of playing (i.e. lip slurs, multiple tonguing, sight reading, scales, etc.) should be practiced everyday? Responses will vary, I assume, as people with differing priorities and technical needs will vary. There are so many different aspects that one must develop as a player, yet limits in time necessitate chosing those elements that we find most important to our playing.
So, what do you find essential to practice everyday?
