To me, the HB-2P is the best all around tuba I have ever played. Good intonation, even sound, easy response, excellent ergonomics, efficient with air, just right. The rotary version is also great, but to me feels a little too small playing for some situations, I like how it plays, but I prefer the HB piston horn better. The HB-2P, to me, is way better than the HB-21 and I would love to own one for myself, but there is that whole money issue. Wife controls the finances. I have purchased the last 4 instruments and it is her turn. Someone on here is selling an HB-2 I believe and I know that Chris Hall was selling his HB-2P.
