Still I will stand by Conn assumption.
First of all, the bell would hide a connecting ring as known from the Conns.
Some friendly correspondent sent me some time ago a pic of his King rotary Monster. (You might know that picture).
I still find the King slightly slimmer than the Conns. And what convinces me is, that the King, in contrast to the tuba discussed here, has a horizontal leadpipe.
