I know its been discussed, but i was adives yesterday by my dentist to get them out. I'm 18 and starting school this fall as a performance major, and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to go ahead and get them out before school begin, that way i would have it out of the way??? He said that i should get it done while i was young so I can recover quickly, and BEFORE they start bothering me. I didn't even know I had them, which is good i guess.
For those of you that had yours taken out recently, what effects, if any, did it have on your playing?? And about how long were you off the horn??? can you at least buzz a mouthpiece so you don't get totally out of shape? Thanks guys!!!
