About a year ago, we [Dillon Music] ordered a couple of CC model 163 tubas from Alexander. Yes, you can get a new Alexander tuba. Our web guy did a nice job of putting some pictures up on the Dillon Music website. Check out the pictures or Email me for price. We think it's wrong for a business to quote prices over a list like this. Special orders can be taken, but plan on 1 year to be delivered. There is a goldbrass 163 coming next. That will be followed by two model 155 F tubas. Now that we see what Alexander is up to these days, we have several more on order. They also offer a model 173 CC tuba with a smaller .770 bore that is priced cheaper. Does anyone have one of those that could send me a picture and an opinion? For what it's worth, this 163M we have is more in-tune than any other Alexander CC I have ever tried.
