Bob Rusk showed me a wonderful photo of the Creatore Band--in the back row is a gentleman holding a forward bell "something," with four rotary valves. Cimbasso, valve bass trombone in Eb or F? Who knows?
Lew Waldeck used a Zinzi in Bb in the City Opera. Bob Bauchens uses a Rudi Meinl in Eb in Lyric.
