I`m a btb/tuba player looking for somebody who have/had the same problem I have.
I broke the malleus of my left ear and had to have an oparation(Tympanoplasty) on it.
The operation took place two weeks ago.
This is what I got: an ossicular prosthesis from the head of the stapes to the undersurface of the tympanic membrane graft.
The operation went very good but I would like to know a brassplayer who had the same problem to get information about how long I should stop playing etc...
Any help and ideas welcome!
