another mouthpiece question

A few weeks ago I picked up a VMI 3301 that came with a PT-88 mouthpiece, my teacher thinks the mouthpiece is too shallow and wide for me. I do agree, I don't have large lips and I swear I have euph mouthpieces that are deeper. He said I should think about a Marcinkiewicz something, the one he plays. What are your suggestions on what I should try before I order a few to play test?
