You know, I did this for some pre-schoolers in my area...now everytime they see me, their eyes light up and they cry out "tuba man!". I think it's safe to say that these kids will grow up never realizing the negative stereotypes that many folks place on our beloved instrument. It's great to enlighten them at such an early age before any of the stereotypes have been established. These kids will probably assume that the tuba can and does play a melody quite often...no matter what anyone else tries to tell them.
