Mouthpieces don't have particularly profound effects on tuba intonation, due to the overall size of these instruments.
A Cerveny Piggy, particularly, is not an intonation "dreamboat". You might just be noticing more and more of the already existing problems as you spend more time with the instrument - regardless of whatever mouthpiece you happen to be using at the time.
