Kenton Band was writing for tuba HOW many decades before?
(I only ask how many because I am pretty confident the average tubenet reader
can count that high)

The fact is, on this board there will always be arguements about equipment, style,
what pitch someone else's horn should be in, or why the pitch of MY horn is right for everyone. No...what I am referring to are NOT "debates"...they ARE arguements. Why this is is peculiar, but I'd bet 20 bucks the majority of folks who engage these arguements could never discuss such differences of opinion face-to-face with their colleagues or peers...hence the tubenet "value"...a fashion that is anything but polite, seldom grounded in well-rounded perspective...rarely with a basis of familiarity....but always, always (well almost always) with somewhat less than open minds. Pot calling the kettle black? You betcha. But...let's look at ... pedantic? More like esoteric.
