Martin Bookspan's voice IS getting shaky, and Beverly Sills isn't getting any more dainty! I was pretty shocked by the solo bass playing in the second aria, as well. The highlight of the concert for me, however, was the wonderful singing of Thomas Quasthoff. An amazing voice comes out of that little body!
