As far as I know, Walter Nirschl is still manufacturing his big CC, and about 3 weeks ago I heard of 3 at his workshop to select from in this January 2003.
I think THE U.S. expert on the Nirschl CC is Doc Keat Johnson who - I believe - took part in the design / development and U.S. promotion, and who obviously owns one for his performance use.
