Hey. I just bought a Meinl Weston 2145 three months ago. All I can say is that you have to go out and try them. Do not, under any circumstances, buy a horn without trying it first. I didn't ask my parents if I could go, I told them that I was going and I did. I drove to Detroit and tried the perantucci's. very nice horns, But I think that they are way overpriced. I drove to NJ (Dillons) and tried thier horns, including the Conn's, Miraphone's, Yamaha's, King's. I also played MULTIPLE HORNS OF THE SAME MODEL, I found that EVERY HORN IS DIFFERENT! I chose the horn that I bought from two of that model because it fit me better. When I play it every day, I love it more and more. I feel like it was molded to my body. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR FIRST HAND TESTING! For the amount of money we spend on the horn, we better be damn sure about it.
