You are loony. Creating an unnecessary challenge to stimulate your mind is loony if you make a serious practice of it.

It would be cheaper to just read the music turned upside down. Or you could recite Latin poetry while playing.

Do trumpet, trombone or euph players go looking around for instruments in unconventional keys? Do violin players retune their strings to confuse themselves?

Maybe do this as a form of amusement... but don't go telling others.
(But just maybe there is a clue here to why many tubists switch to CCs after a while.)

How many of us play the music as well as it was written? Work on the music. You can always play it better than you are playing it now.
