Filling the pits is not so easy. Whatever you use to fill them will have different expansion properties than the brass, and you risk separation down the line. I can think of one or two ways around this, but not without an unreasonable amount of work.
I think I'd send the mouthpiece to Warburton or Schilke, or whoever you can find who will make custom mouthpieces, and ask them to duplicate it. That seems much less risky than the other options.
