I'm a freshman tuba major at the University of Georgia. It was amazing and extremly powerful to see the reaction of the faculty and alumni involved with this the tuba-euphonium studio. Many of the studio and former students of Dr. Randolph got together last night and played a little and told stories from "the old days". Dr. Randolph was a professor who involved himself in the lives of his students and cared about each and everyone of them. Dr. Randolph was one who expected the best from students and instilled in them the desire to play their very best.
