Though I highly value the many friendships (and a few "foe-ships" - very highly valued as well) that I've made on various bulletin boards/lists/chat boards, etc., I hesitate to post my email address very often because the mass numbers of people on the internet can simply overwhelm most vendors of the size that tend to trade in upper end musical instruments along with the repair and maintenance of these instruments.
Beyond a certain number of communications per day, a vendor can end up almost completely shutting down productivity and hard sales in favor of communication.
