Dude, it's the volume of air that counts when playing louder.
Increasing air speed without adjusting (widening) the lip aperture will create faster lip vibrations and raise the pitch of the note.
I would suggest the speed of the air must remain constant for a given pitch.
As the volume of air is adjusted, proportionally the aperture must also be adjusted to achieve consistent air speed.
