Hello all! Is there a method book out there that teaches this sort of thing really well. One that is self-paced and teaches you not only to read chord changes but also HOW exactly to construct a bass line in different styles of jazz would be great! I have heard the Rufus Reid book is great, and I know about the Aebersolds, but I want something that focuses more on the bass line stuff.
I know one should do a lot of listening to different styles and I am doing that, but something to look at and keep me on pace would be greatly appreciated.
