Thanks for the tips will enquire about the mouthpipes. I have already got a Wick 5 that would work OK. I am not bothered about the bell but our band conductor has an obsession with large bells and thinks the old Imperials dont have enough volume. Perhaps I could get one custom made, may cost less than a £600 one from Boosey and take less time.
