Funny thing, I was in 2ID last year and and am now in an AG Band. There seems to be more politicing at the AG Band. Don't get me wrong, 2ID was stupid, but the NCOs left you alone if you wanted to be left alone. The worst thing about Korea was you are so disconnected over there. I know people that love it and would go back in a second. Whatever you do, don't go in uncommitted like I did. I could have wound up at a MACOM band if I knew a little more about the "system" going in, and would probably feel differently about the Army Band situation than I do now.
