To those who have been there before,
I am looking to buy my first tuba. I have been playing for about 12 years now and have always been given a nice horn from the school or college that I have attended. I have done extensive work with solos and in concert settings. So being a half way good tuba player I am questioning whether I should switch to CC of to stick with a BB? I will be playing mostly small groups and solos from here on out but I know there are pros and cons of going either way. In a way I want to make the step up and play a CC but on the other hand the months of getting the CC down pat would be a loss of good BB playing time. Any opinion? Thanks a bunch!
