You are right about tuba players' personalities. Nicest bunch of people I've run into. Now, being a horn player, I kind of think maybe you shorted hornists a little...but then they are more plumbers than tuba players are. Think what tuba players would be like if they had double tubas, with all that plumbing to mess with all the time. Might ruin them, no?
