One of my favorite recordings, which I have not seen available on CD yet is a Bruckner 6th with Steinberg from 1969 on RCA Red Seal. What a sound!
But my all-time favorite Chester experience was hearing him with the BSO in Carnegie some years back doing Mahler 6th. It was the epitome of orchestral playing leaving me speechless.
