I don't have the main answer, but here's a clue to add to what you know:

If it says "Made in Germany" then it was either made in the last ten years or it was made before the second world war. From the end of WWII until the Soviet occupation of eastern Germany, items made in what became West Germany would be marked "Made in Western Germany." After that time and before reunification ten years ago, it would be marked "Made in West Germany." If it was made in East Germany, it would say "Made in DDR" or "Made in GDR." Because it says "Made in Germany" in English, it must have been made before WWII, and before the war effort halted production of musical instruments.

If it's that old, then that opens the door to dozens of possible small shops that might have made the instrument.
