Almost all of Bobo's recordings were done with Mirafone tubas, including the Effie Suite
where he used a Mirafone CC186. When his recordings were re-released they changed the covers to show him holding a Yamaha tuba.A statement was also added that Roger Bobo plays only Yahama tubas, which is true, but not when those recordings were made. I feel that this is misleading.
