The calculation based on the theory, that normal length valves do keep their values in semitones, when they are combined in any number larger than two, is not true.

So your calculations do not give true values.

This can be demonstrated in a a spreadsheet. You can have one in an older Excel format from me, if you want to.

But the best visual illustration you can have is to look at the neck of a guitar. The frets are positioned longer apart, the longer they sit from the bridge. That effect can be compared to the tuba terms of "long steps".
