Sometime within the next 18 months I am probably buy a CC tuba. I have an F tuba which I love and use for chamber work and solo stuff. I'm looking for a LARGE horn and was wondering of some of you out there could give some opinions of the 5/4 or 6/4 instruments that you have played or owned. Money is not a real problem but I couldn't see spending more than 7K since I am not making my living with it. The Ceveney 601 looks good, and I enjoyed playing my teacher's MW2155. I also played a Dayrl Smith Kalison a few weeks ago and thought it was a pretty good horn. Does the larger Kalison play as well? Any and all comments (except smart ass ones) are appreciated. Thanks
