I'm a junior in HS and i remember back when I was a freshman. I asked for my b-day, with no avail and then on Christmas for tuba lessons, and when i got them I was so happy and grateful that I had an oppertunity. Now i pay for all my own lessons, but I wont forget that even though my parents couldnt buy me a horn or make me a great player, they got me started and gave me an oppertunity to make something happen for myself.
