I undersand a 'professional musician' as perhaps being a person who earns his living playing music. A 'music professional' perhaps as being a person who earns his living teaching music. Then I also understand that many musicians do some of both in order to eek out a descent living. Then there are some of us who combine playing horns, fixing horns, and buying/selling/trading horns in order to stay fed. I'm just curious how the opinions run.
