I personally do not like these horns only because of the old valve stroke system(they are slow and even slower and noisy if they are worn out). for $2000 I would say that it should have been overhauled recently and no crease or severe repair marks on the bell. I would ask for less if it is not dent free or if the valves are loose and worn(a lot of these horns also have bent valve stems which will also cost money to repair),thus making this horn into a 2500-3000 horn just to get it in working order. remember that a lot of these valve problems are masked with a lot of crafty lubricants so look for those valves that are slower or faster than the others. dont forget to take your tuner with you.
