Just getting back into Tuba after many years away. I'm borrowing a pretty well worn 1965-ish Miraphone (I think it is a 186...40" tall with 16.5" bell) with 4 rotary valves. It's got dents (none too severe) and scratches and plenty of orange tarnish inside the bell -- but seems to play great (not that I am very discerning in such matters!). Comes with an old but sturdy and functional case. Any recommendations on what a reasonable price for such an instrument would be? Is $2000 too much or too little? Thanks for any help.
