Doug is right. As a college teacher, you can only present the facts of what is ahead. Everyone has a right to pursue their dream. It is true the teacher should be frank with their students, however the onus is on the student to decide how they want to proceed. You had the right to decide whether to go on or not. I doubt a teacher of Mr. Jacobs stature needed to beef up his studio with your money. For every finger you point there are three pointing back at you.
